First game down and we won 24-6. It wasn’t pretty though. The boys seemed ‘off’ and if it weren’t for our one really good running back, we wouldn’t have done dick. They need confidence, they need attitude, they need swagger. There’s no doubt in my mind they’re one of the top five teams in the 4th grade division, but they don’t portray it.

The best way to describe it is, “Today everyone knew we were the vastly superior team except for our opponents.”

It didn’t look like a well-oiled machine today. If we can win 24-6 looking messy and off, then anything is possible once some sort of stride is hit.
