  • Judging by the number of views, I’m late to the party on this one, but Clint recently pointed this out and I’m totally fucking mesmerized by it. Once it starts playing I have to watch the entire thing and I can’t get it out of my head:

Naturally it spawned a million and one knockoffs, parodies, remixes and such. Far and away my favorite is the following. I’ve watched it a few times now and I still laugh. This is apparently my kind of humor:

    Come on!

Chocolate rain – they control your mind like they were David Blane
Chocolate rain – the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain

That gets me every time. Some of the lines in the spoof are just too great. (the dry cleaning line, the bicycle brake, the cousin taking out the dog with one punch – it kills me)

    Good stuff.

It’s just so bad it’s good. I’ve been tempted to download the MP3, but have restrained myself. I think I may put it on my iPod for this weekend’s trip with Matt and Gator ;-).

That shit is terrible. I couldn’t get through the first minute because it was so repetitive.

That seems to be one of the two reactions, Jeff.

So far everyone I’ve seen/heard talk about it have either said, “I couldn’t get past the first 30 seconds” or the opposite end of the spectrum with, “I had to watch the whole thing”

I fell into the latter category.
