Stupid HOA gets pissed if you feed the ducks and geese, but it was nice to watch them stroll by this afternoon. A couple of adults escorting 7 babies.

Yeah, I used to think so too. There is a little pond behind my back yard. There is so much goose shit it my back yard, it’s now hard to walk back there. I now let the dog chase the adult geese (but not the babies).
That’s never really bothered me.
Our place in Flordia was right up against a large pond and a small wooded area. We had all kinds of wildlife back there from ducks and other birds, turtles, snakes, opossums, squirrels and even an armadillo – we loved it.
But yeah, I can see where the uptight neighbors are coming from.
I need to tie a goat in the backyard or something…
Or better yet, buy a goat that smokes cigarettes so the geese will die of lung cancer. :)
Had a family of deer that used to hang out back there also. Used to think that was so cool. Until the little bastards ate all of the perennials I had spent all summer planting.
