I don’t know why I started a blog. Partially because all the cool kids were, partially because it’s fun to write shit down, partially because it documents what I feel is important enough to add here, partially because I wanted to attention whore, partially to share with people who give a crap. Lots of little reasons.
I noticed that more and more I post the little things on Facebook. It’s just too easy to post a little link or snap a pic with my phone and send it to Facebook. It feels more and more like this blog only gets half of the story.
I’m not sure how I feel about that.
You’re approaching a problem with social networks I have thought about for a while. Where do I create & share my content?
In my case Facebook gets half of the story unless my friends are reading the posts I’m pumping into my News Feed. Putz told me last week “no one gets it all right.” I agree with him but it still frustrates me that I have too many options and can’t quit any of them.
