Things I did on the 4th this year:

1. Moved that big pile of stone (the old wall) from the garage to behind the shed.
2. Cooked hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill.
3. Turned my kids on to the original Twilight Zone episodes on Sci-Fi (soon to be Syfy – WTF!?).
4. Bought stupid sparklers and smoke bombs from Wal-Mart and Meijer.
5. Gave my blog a new look.

Things I didn’t do on the 4th this year:

1. Go to a public fireworks display.
2. Fight a baby.
