I’m due to upgrade my phone with Verizon’s “new every two” thing that they do in a few days. Not sure I necessarily even need one, but I want one, so I’ll be upgrading.
Any suggestions? Phones to avoid? Phones to consider? Phones I shouldn’t make eye contact with?
The UI on Beth’s Venus is the best Verizon interface I have seen. I really liked my KRZR because it was small and looked good. Then I dropped it and the front cracked.
I’ll spare Jeff the typing and suggest you get an iPhone while you are in between contracts. ;)
Actually not between contracts, my line is an add-on to Jamie’s contract.

I have a KRZR and I like it a lot.
Yeah, right now I have the plain vanilla RAZR. I dig it and like I said don’t really need to upgrade.
Jamie has a Chocolate and it’s nice enough too.
I’m wondering if the Glyde or Voyager are worth it?
Or just do what I did….wait until a phone comes out later that you like.
My “new every two” was effective in June 07, and yet I waited until Feb 08 to use it for a Blackberry Pearl.
Aren’t there internet rumors of the iPhone being available for ALL providers in the not too distant future??
That’s actually not a bad idea and one I did briefly consider. I’m just too much of an instant gratification person – they’re offering it and I want it now.
But that’s really not a bad idea to just wait it out.
Now that I look, I realize I am eligible in about a week for my “new every two” upgrade. Wonder what I should do…
