  • I remember these ads like yesterday now that I’m seeing them again. Fun to look back and see how this all turned out or how the basic idea is there or how things never really panned out. I love going back and checking up on things like this – too often in life people say shit and it just floats off to nowhere. I like accountability. But I digress, these ads are fun (and make me realize how old 35 really is):

      I know this isn’t even close to the same concept as what you are getting at with these actual ads (read: promises) of what the future will hold… but I watched Back to the Future II again recently and couldn’t help but laugh at the way 2015 was portrayed in the movie. Sure, it seemed like a far distance to the future back in 1985, but now it’s only 6 years away. We have a lot of catching up to do if we are going to be anywhere near as technologically advanced in every day means as Hollywood predicted we would be!
