Yeah, isn’t that one of the saddest of all internet trends?
I get a serious amount of traffic to coasterimage sent from google where someone typed “www.coasterimage.com” or just “coasterimage.com” as their query.
However, this is people literally typing “lord gonchar” as their query not just “lordgonchar.com” as one would suspect.

I’m sure Tyler is right, because the number one search for CoasterBuzz is… wait for it… CoasterBuzz.
Plain old “coasterimage” is much further down in the list of keywords searched and “coaster image” further down still. The “.com” and “www.com” varieties place higher.
None of the three variations is the top search term leading people to Coasterimage.
Then again “lord gonchar” isn’t the top term to get people here – it’s gatorade lightening…
…which speaks volumes about the continued dumbing down of the world. :)
What is so bad about typing “Lord Gonchar” and clicking the first link? It certainly isn’t as easy as using a bookmark but is better than wading through lines of recently visited sites in the address bar’s drop down menu.
Going to google. Typing Lord Gonchar. Hitting search. Clicking the top link.
or
Typing lordgonchar.com in the address bar and hitting return.
I just don’t get it, I suppose.

Do you think it’s possible that people see coasterimage videos on Youtube with “the voice” and then type in “coasterimage.com” into their search because of it?
Google has taken over as an address bar replacement. Seriously…

I’d like to think that happens…not sure if it does or not.
