I more than a little embarassed to admit we got tickets to see Weird Al at Kings Island. But we did.
Thus completes my descent into complete dorkdom. It’s a dark day here at the bottom of the totem pole.

I saw him at the Detroit CityFest. My third time seeing him. Everyone looks at me weird for going to see Al live, but damn, is it a good show for the entire family. Everyone I know who I manage to get to go really has a good time.
Note though: he has gone to a more adult tone, touching briefly on some sexual innuendo and homosexuality. I’m sure you are fine with those topics, but in regards to kids, I thought I’d give you a head’s up.
I considered going to Carowinds to see him, but opted out because of timing.
You may be at the bottom of the totem pole, Gonch, but look down… I’m still the dork stuck holding the totem pole up! But I do it with pride.
Have a good time. There ain’t nothing wrong with doing what you want/like!
So, the timing ended up happening anywho (my grandma wanted to go to NC, and paid for the trip…). T’was good.
