If there’s one food I have an uncontrollable weakness for it’s potato chips. I love them in general. Can’t pass them up. But more specifically, I truly have an unhealthy obsession with Wise potato Chips. They are far and away the best potato chips on earth and that is undisputable fact.

The problem is that they’re not available in my neck of the woods:

Yes, I know Ohio is shown as a state in which they are available – and you can get Wise chips in Ohio…just not in my neck of the woods. According to their website, they are available at Giant Eagle, Foodland, Shop N Save and Tops. I have none of those stores near me. Not one.

So what do I get stuck with? Crap like Lay’s. Let me tell you, Lay’s chips suck. Lay’s chips are not worthy of sniffing the butt of a bag of Wise potato chips.

Do yourself a favor if you’re ever on the east coast. Get a bag of plain old Wise chips (as in the picture above) and eat the whole damn thing.

In the meantime, I’m appeasing my potato chip addiction with various novelty brands, off brands and second rate choices.

Sigh.
