Some quick thoughts:

1. Nothing can live up to HBK/Taker. HHH/Taker was fine, but not even close to epic.

2. Punk did the job indeed. Orton feels more and more overrated with each week.

3. I think they wasted Del Rio. Put him in the championship match too soon and then had him lose. Now what? Upper/mid-card purgatory.

4. They need to do more with Rhodes. There’s something there they just haven’t tapped properly into yet.

5. Best swerve of the night was Snooki actually delivering on the finish. She was the joke of the night going into this. WWE pulled one on all of us.

6. Miz retaining was no surprise given the Rock’s place in their little 3-way.

7. I blinked and missed the 8-man tag match.

8. The rest was forgettable. The key to working a Wrestlemania match is to oversell. That’s all you have to do.
